How do I change my status, change a price, offer a sale, etc. ?

To change your status, update a price, or request a sale, email support@coverartmarket.com. These features will be added to the Designer Portal soon. 

How do I know when I sold a cover?

You will receive an email immediately after a customer purchases your cover.

How and when do I get paid?

We pay every Monday for the sales from the previous week via PayPal. If you sold a cover, you will receive an email with your CAM sales report. Also, you will receive an email from PayPal. 

How can I increase my sales on CAM?

1. Apply to be the Monthly Featured Designer.

What are CAM Cover Specifications?

CAM Cover Specifications (CSS) are the design, technical, and legal standards for designers selling cover art on Cover Art Market. These guidelines ensure that all artwork is original, professionally crafted, and fully compliant with streaming platform requirements. Click here.

Why do we ask you to sell premade covers exclusively on CAM?

a) Trust and Exclusivity. At CAM, every premade cover is sold only once—guaranteed. This clear promise builds buyer confidence and drives more sales across the platform, benefiting all designers. Unlike other sites that confuse buyers with extra fees to “make exclusive” or “remove from catalog,” CAM keeps it simple and honest—no gimmicks, no surprises. By asking designers to sell their premade covers exclusively on CAM, we ensure this promise is upheld.
 

b) We invest in your success. CAM spends tens of thousands promoting you and your designs, offers a high 80% commission rate, pays within 1–7 days of each sale, and covers all payment processing fees—typically 3% on both the sale and the payout. We also provide real human support when you need it. In return, we ask for your commitment to sell your premade covers exclusively through CAM.
 

c) Stronger together. By bringing designers together on one platform, we amplify exposure, attract more customers, and benefit all designers.

Why do I see a discount on a cover sold that I did not request?

The CAM Platform offers a one-time discount to new customers, mailing list subscribers, and during limited-time events. This strategy aims to boost cover art sales by providing a discount on the first order, encouraging new artists to try CAM.

A large portion of our sales comes from repeat customers, making it advantageous for everyone to attract new buyers. Offering a discount on first orders helps encourage more people to try us out and increases the chances they’ll become loyal customers. This strategy has become a common practice in e-commerce!  

What are the benefits of the Designer PLUS program?

The Designer PLUS is designed for more dedicated designers who consistently upload new covers and are committed to earning more on CAM. They also want access to advanced tools to boost their business, including the ability to have their covers promoted. Will my covers get promoted if I'm not in the Designer PLUS Program?

Yes, exceptional artwork and cover designs are always promoted.

The CAM sales analytics report is currently generated every month for Designer Plus members. This report provides actionable insights to inspire the creation of new covers, including effective pricing strategies to boost sales.  Click here to see a sample report.

What are the benefits of the Monthly Featured Designer (MFD)? 

For Designers aiming to quickly boost their brand visibility and increase sales. Typically, MFD sees a traffic increase of 200%+ and can expect sales for the month to be between $500 and over $1,000.   Learn more>
