Terms of service

These terms apply to everything you buy or use on Cover Art Market, a store run by Cover Art Market Inc., a Canadian company.

What you are buying

Every cover on Cover Art Market is sold once. When your payment completes, the cover is removed from sale and licensed exclusively to you. You receive a 3000×3000 pixel JPG with your song title and, unless you chose no text or title only, your artist name added by the designer. The layered PSD file is included free when you ask for it with your order.

Add-ons

Add-ons such as Spotify Canvas, motion covers, lyric videos, promo videos and banners are made for a cover you bought. They are delivered as files on your order page. The same licence below covers them.

The licence

You get a worldwide, perpetual, exclusive licence to use the cover and its add-ons as artwork for your release: streaming platforms, stores, social media, merchandise, and promotion. The designer keeps the right to show the work in their portfolio. You may not resell the artwork itself, license it to others as artwork, or claim you created the design.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. A processing fee is added to each order and shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal.

Delivery and changes

Covers are delivered within 24 hours of ordering. Until your cover is delivered you can change the title, name, and release details free of charge from your order page. After delivery, small text corrections are free; other changes may be quoted.

Refunds

Because each cover comes off the market the moment you buy it, refunds are handled case by case. If we have not started work, we will refund you and the cover returns to the store. Email [email protected] with your order number.

Your song, photo, logo and lyrics

You confirm that the song title, artist name, and any song, photo, logo or lyrics you give us are yours to use and do not infringe anyone else's rights. You let us use them only to make and deliver what you ordered. We do not claim any ownership of them. We may decline orders containing content we cannot lawfully reproduce.

CAM Rewards

When you are signed in, you earn 12.5 points for every $1 you pay for covers and add-ons, after any discount code. The processing fee and orders paid with points do not earn points. Orders placed without an account are added the first time you sign in with the same email. If you bought from Cover Art Market before this store opened, you get 12.5 points for every $1 you spent there, add-ons included, the first time you sign in with the email you used.

Points can only be used for the rewards listed on your rewards page. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and do not expire. If an order is refunded, the points it earned are removed, and points spent on a refunded order are returned. We may change the rewards and their point prices; points you have already earned stay yours. We may remove points given by mistake or gained through fraud. If we ever end CAM Rewards, we will give you at least 30 days' notice to use your points.

Accounts

You can sign in with Google or with your email and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password and access to your email account secure.

Liability

The store is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and orders are covered by the terms in place when you placed them.
