Buying a cover
What is Cover Art Market?
A marketplace of premade album covers made by independent designers. Every cover is an original design, across 50+ genres, and each one is sold to one artist only.
How much does it cost?
Covers start at $20. Add-ons: Spotify Canvas $25, Apple Music motion $40, Motion cover $45, Lyric video $45. No processing fee: the price you see is what you pay.
How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or PayPal. You can check out as a guest with just your email.
Do I need an account?
No. An account (Google or email) keeps your covers, downloads and likes in one place.
Files and delivery
What files do I get?
A 3000×3000 JPG with your song title and artist name set by the designer, or the artwork with no text if you pick that. The layered PSD is free if you ask for it when you order. Motion products come as MP4.
How fast is delivery?
Covers are delivered within 24 hours. Add-ons like Canvas, motion covers and lyric videos are delivered within 2 business days of purchase.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Upload it in the release details when you order, or on your order page any time before delivery. PNG, JPG or WebP.
Changes and refunds
Can I make changes after I order?
Yes. Until delivery you can change the title, name and details on your order page. Text edits are free for life, even after delivery; bigger changes may be quoted.
What if I'm not happy?
If the designer hasn't started, you get a full refund and the cover goes back on the store. Email [email protected] with your order number.
Rights and use
What does "sold once" mean?
When you buy a cover it comes off the store for good. No other artist can release with it. You get an exclusive licence with full commercial rights.
What can I use the cover for?
Everything around your release: streaming, stores, social, merch and ads. The designer can still show it in their portfolio.
Add-ons
What add-ons can I get?
Spotify Canvas, Apple Music motion, motion covers, lyric videos, release-week promo ads and videos, a Spotify banner, a YouTube screen and a tracklist graphic. Each one is shown with real deliveries on the Add-ons page.
